 When we work on your home we know that even the smallest amount of work can be a reason for discomfort and anxiety. We make every effort to keep the area we are working in clean and safe by:

 - Covering furniture and flooring with plastic or drop cloths
 - Sweeping and vacuuming regularly
 - Keeping dangerous areas sectioned off from children and pets
 - Using LEAD Safe work practices when necessary
 - Removing all trash and old building material from the work site daily
 - Cleaning and straightening the work site each day, if it takes longer that one day, before we leave.

J&K Construction is certified by the Federal Government to work in homes built prior to 1978. We follow guidelines established by the EPA when working on homes that we have tested to contain lead base paint. All companies are required by law to be certified, to have a Certified Renovator on staff, and to train all their job site employees on LEAD Safe Work practices.
